As many of us gather with family and friends to celebrate, we wanted to take a moment to wish our readers joy this festive season.

To everyone celebrating Christmas Eve tonight and Christmas tomorrow, we hope your days are merry and bright. We hope the beginning of the Festival of Lights brings warmth and peace to our readers celebrating Hanukkah this week.

Our team will be taking a short break to enjoy the holidays with our loved ones, but we will continue to monitor and report on all important local news. Barring any breaking news in the meantime, we’ll be back on Thursday December 26th.

As always, you can send us tips or community updates via email – send them to (email protected) as we’re finally moving from our long-standing (email protected) address.

And while the use of AI-generated images for news continues to be suspended, we hope you’ll indulge us in this one quirky – if unlikely – depiction of a celebratory scene about Rosslyn.

Happy Holidays, Arlington!
