Meyer Sound celebrates collaboration with the Grateful Dead and Francis Ford Coppola ahead of the Kennedy Centers Honors Broadcast

The 47th annual Kennedy Center Honors took place in Washington on December 8th. DC The Grateful Dead, Francis Ford Coppola, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval and the Apollo Theater all received recognition for their “influence on the rich tapestry of American life and culture through the performing arts.” The event airs tonight from 8:30-11:00 PM (ET/PT) on CBS Television Network and Paramount+.

Meyer Sound has taken an active role in supporting The Dead and Coppola over the years. The company issued a congratulatory statement for these artists: “As the Grateful Dead and Francis Ford Coppola are celebrated at the 2024 Kennedy Center Honors and beyond, Meyer Sound proudly looks back on decades of collaboration with these icons of creativity and innovation.” The The Grateful Dead and Coppola left indelible marks on the culture, and their work with Meyer Sound helped shape their artistic visions in ways that continue to resonate today.”
