Here’s a recap of the national predictions for this Week 17 game.

Analysis: The Dolphins are still alive in the playoff chase, but barely there. They got the running game going last week with the win over San Francisco, so look for that to carry over. The Browns can’t concentrate and have quarterback problems. Miami breaks the cold curse and wins.

Forecast: Dolphins 28, Browns 14

Analysis: The Browns don’t have enough offense beyond Jerome Ford to be competitive here as Myles Garrett and the defense are exhausted and collapsing. The Dolphins came off the mat to beat the 49ers and will remain relentless on offense around Tua Tagovailoa.

Forecast: Dolphins 24, Browns 20

Stephanie Bell: Dolphins

Matt Bowen: Dolphins

Mike Clay: Dolphins

Jeremy Fowler: Dolphins

Dan Graziano: Dolphins

Kalyn Kahler: Dolphins

Kimberly Martin: Dolphins

Eric Moody: Dolphins

Jason Reid: Dolphins

Lindsey Thiry: Dolphins

Seth Wickersham: Dolphins

Mike Florio: Dolphins 20, Browns 17

Chris Simms: Dolphins 24, Browns 13

Ali Bhanpuri: Dolphins 23, Browns 17

Tom Blair: Dolphins 24, Browns 14

Brooke Cersosimo: Dolphins 23, Browns 20

Gennaro Filice: Dolphins 19, Browns 14

Dan Parr: Dolphins 23, Browns 16

Analysis: The Cleveland Browns traded for Dorian Thompson-Robinson in Week 16, and it went just as bad as you’d expect. DTR made some nice plays with his legs, but his turnovers and sacks were too much for the Browns to overcome. That will likely be the case again this week as the Miami Dolphins attempt to sneak into the playoffs. Cleveland’s pass rush could be a big problem for Miami, but here’s hoping the Dolphins pull out a close win on the road here in Week 17.

Forecast: Dolphins 20, Browns 17

Analysis: The Dolphins need to win and get a lot of help to make the playoffs. They were prouder than the 49ers of last week’s win, but that was at home and the weather forecast calls for rain on Sunday. It’s like hitting a dead fish and talking about how much Tua Tagovailoa and his teammates wilt in cold weather. On the other hand, the Browns waved the white flag when they started Dorian Thompson-Robinson at QB last week. They don’t want to win, and their players know it. It all depends on how much confidence you have in Browns mudder Jerome Ford, who ranks fourth in the EPA per rush rate at 0.08 (minimum 100 touches). Ranked third in the league and in yards per carry with an average of 5.5 yards. It turns out I don’t have much.

forecast (against the spread): Dolphins minus 6.5 (Wires may vary depending on the socket)

Analysis: This will be the Dolphins’ fourth and final attempt to get to .500 this season for the first time since September, and they can continue their winning streak in consecutive seasons by defeating the Browns before turning their attention to New York host Jets in Week 18. Cleveland will play hard in this game, but they lack talent on offense due to injuries. The Browns have committed 18 turnovers in their last five games and we could see at least a few more in this game. This is the type of game the Dolphins have handled very well in recent years, and there is no reason to believe this will be any different regardless of the weather or playoff scenarios.

Forecast: Dolphins 23, Browns 9
