Michael B. Jordan & Co. certainly look ready to kill vampires in the new image of Ryan Coogler’s Sinner

Michael B. Jordan is armed and ready for action in a new picture from director Ryan Coogler sinner
. Jordan leads them sinner Cast in dual roles as twin brothers Elijah and Elias Smoke, with Hailee Steinfeld and Jack O’Connell in the lead roles. As hinted at in the first trailer, the film follows Elijah and Elias as they return to their hometown, where they face a terrible evil. This evil has been theorized to be vampires, but no marketing material has actually shown such a creature, leaving the threat mysterious.

A new 2025 film preview from USA today contains a new image of sinnerand several clues in the picture support the idea that Jordan will face off against vampires. In the picture, Jordan is seen holding a sharpened wooden stick and a pistol while covered in bloodand wooden stakes are, according to folklore, a way to kill vampires. Also of note is that another figure behind Jordan also appears to have a wooden stake attached to her weapon. Check out the new image below:

Are there vampires in the new Ryan Coogler film?

In general, marketing materials make it clear when a vampire movie is a vampire movie and that the presence of the legendary creatures has not yet been confirmed sinner could be important. As it stands, vampires or not, the film seems to be a worthy sequel for Coogler Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) and another great role for Jordan after that Creed III (2023).
