Michael Corinthos bursts into flames

Michael Corinthos bursts into flames

At Sonny’s penthouse, Michael appeared to be holding back tears as he told his father his marriage was over. Michael explained that Willow brought Wiley to DC without even telling him. “I will do whatever it takes to stay in my children’s lives,” Michael said.

Sonny was proud of Michael for taking Diane’s advice and making an “aggressive first strike.” Michael still planned to negotiate with Willow and agree on joint custody. “I don’t want to punish Willow. “I only want the best for my children,” Michael admitted.

Sonny felt that Drew deserved the real punishment. “What kind of man goes after his nephew’s wife?” Sonny asked himself. Michael and Sonny both agreed that taking Willow to DC was Drew’s revenge against Michael for taking Aurora away from him. He just wished Willow could realize that Drew wasn’t her hero.

“How could Willow be controlled by him?” Sonny asked himself, referring to Drew. Michael was still distraught and told Sonny that he lay awake at night wondering how so much could go wrong so quickly. “I’m starting to think that Willow survives by becoming what others expect her to be,” Michael said.

Michael went through Willow’s entire history since her time in Dawn of Day. His theory about Willow made perfect sense to Sonny as Michael explained more. “I think it was her love for Wiley that attracted her to me. She adjusted to me,” Michael said. Sonny assured him that Willow loved him for many reasons, not just Wiley.

Jason soon arrived and took Sonny into the hallway to talk business. Michael remained in the apartment as an explosion and flames ripped through, leaving the audience wondering if Michael would survive.

Willow entered Drew’s hotel room, completely distraught. She was holding the paperwork she had received from Diane. Michael filed for divorce and wanted custody of the children. Willow couldn’t believe Michael was calling her an unfit mother. “This is about revenge. “Michael is punishing me for being with you,” Willow decided.

Willow remained confused as to why Michael would make things so ugly. Why couldn’t they just talk after she got home? Willow seemed to have figured it out then. “I guess Michael saw the photos of me and Wiley here with you and he was hurt,” Sherlock Willow concluded.

Drew did his best to comfort Willow as she cried and feared Michael would use the nanny cam recording in court. However, she was more concerned that Drew would lose his seat in Congress.

Willow soon called Marty and told her lawyer what was going on. Marty wasn’t surprised and assured Willow that a court wouldn’t separate a mother from her children. However, when he learned that Willow was in DC with Drew, he knew they might have a problem. When Willow hung up, Drew blamed Michael for everything before declaring his love for Willow.

Before he went to see Sonny, Jason witnessed Carly storm into his coffee warehouse and tell him that Wiley had called. She also stated that “Willow had lost her damn mind.” Jason was surprised to hear that Wiley and Willow were staying in Uncle Drew’s hotel room in DC. Jason pointed out that Drew must have had a suite with two children.

Carly didn’t want to listen to reason. She knew what Drew was planning. “This trip was about Drew getting Willow into his bed. Once again,” she said. Carly was annoyed that Jason didn’t seem to care.

“I already beat up Drew. What should I do? Fly to DC and beat him up again?” Carly jokingly announced that she would do that instead. Jason suspected it was something between Michael and Willow, but Carly saw it differently.

“This is about me trusting Willow with my son’s heart and she ripped it to shreds. And I will never forgive her,” Carly announced. Jason calmed Carly down (relatively) as she left to have dinner with Lucas. When Carly arrived at the restaurant, Lucas called to cancel, but Brennan seemed to soon join her.

Before meeting Carly, Colette entered Brennan’s office while he was on the phone asking where the Rice Plaza footage was. After Brennan hung up, Colette apologized for trying to kill Valentin. She was just told to find him and pursue him, not shoot him. She explained that she feared that Dante would have Valentin arrested, which the WSB did not want. So Colette took the shot and was disappointed that she missed.

Brennan didn’t like Colette’s excuse and he told her so, and he didn’t like her going rogue. “Why are you trying to supervise your boss?” he asked. Brennan thought that if Valentin was smart, he would have let Charlotte go with Lulu. He was sure Charlotte would lead them back to Valentin because teenagers can’t stay away from their phones.

After Colette left, Brennan tried again to get the Rice Plaza footage. He found it in his email and watched as a man with a gray ponytail stabbed Dex. However, he had difficulty recognizing the man’s face.

A sad Josslyn packed away Dex’s things while she cleaned out his apartment and looked at photos of the two of them. Trina interrupted Josslyn’s thoughts and suggested waiting until the next day to finish. Josslyn just wanted to get it over with. She was also distraught, thinking that Dex was this wonderful person and that all that was left of his life were his belongings in his apartment.

“If he had the chance, he would have done so much good. The monster that stole this chance from him? They need to be punished,” Joss said. Trina agreed, but didn’t know what Joss could do that the PCPD wasn’t already doing. Josslyn told her that she was hoping the WSB had footage of Rice Plaza the day Dex was stabbed.

After Trina left, Joss searched a final drawer and found a box containing a mysterious weapon.

At the hospital, Lucas approached Portia and asked her why she was suspending Elizabeth. Lucas came to Liz’s defense. Portia knew that Elizabeth would never do anything to intentionally harm a patient, but she had to follow hospital rules while trying to find out the truth about Sam and Dex’s deaths.

Cyrus stood at the nurse’s station, waiting to speak to Isaiah. He held his Bible and thanked him for saving Lulu’s life. Cyrus also asked Isaiah what it felt like to play God.

“The first thing a good surgeon knows is that he is neither God nor should he ever aspire to be one,” Isaiah replied. As Isaiah tried to walk away, Cyrus stopped him and lamented how sad he was that Isaiah seemed to be listening to Jordan’s opinion of him. Cyrus argued that Jordan was right about the man he once was, but wrong about the man he became.

Brad overheard the conversation, approached Isaiah and Cyrus and called Cyrus an animal for trying to kill Britt when she was chief of staff. Portia and Lucas arrived at the scene and tried to silence Brad while Cyrus defended herself. Lucas took an angry Brad somewhere else so he could calm down.

Portia finally had enough and told an outraged Cyrus that he was no longer allowed in the hospital. “But I am the chosen emissary of the Port Charles Redemption Mission,” he argued. Portia said to him, “No more.”

Marty stopped by Laura’s office where she reported that Lulu had found Charlotte but couldn’t take her home. Laura told what happened in the Prague café. Laura was amazed at how much trust Scarlett still had in Valentin that she even told him that she had called Rocco and spoken to Lulu.

Marty argued that they knew Charlotte was fine and that Valentin would take good care of her. Laura worried that Lulu would lose more time with her daughter. Marty was sure Charlotte would turn to Lulu again.

Lucy sat up the Wyndemere living room until the doorbell rang. She opened it and welcomed the person standing there to his new home. The person turned out to be Jenz Sidwell. He immediately used the spell and started flirting with Lucy.

Lucy showed Sidwell around and gave him a care package to make him feel at home on his first night in the castle. Sidwell was impressed to learn that Lucy had literally written the book about Port Charles.

Lucy tried to get more personal information out of Sidwell before offering to introduce him to Port Charles society. Sidwell was so impressed by the offer that he immediately asked her to have a glass of champagne with her. As they sat on the couch with their drinks, Lucy suggested having a drink at Metro Court.
