Last month, Cyrus reflected on her second Golden Globes nomination on Instagram. She wrote: “It is an honor to be nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards alongside my friends and colleagues Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li.” Pamela (Anderson) generously shares her moment with us. I’m still here for her, it’s so much fun to watch her shine. Thank you, Gia Coppola, for inviting me to be part of your jewel The Last Showgirl.”

Weeks later, the singer revealed on the platform that 2024 had been a particularly happy year for her. “It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a year that was so good for me, but I’m excited to start again,” she wrote about ringing in 2025. “This is one of my favorite parts of not only the creative process, but also the way life wanted to teach me.

“In everything I do, I want to achieve the WHOLE goal. Give EVERYTHING I have. EVERYTHING so that it ends, continues and begins again. Sometimes it can be a heartbreaking process, but I have always known that the pieces would come back together and something beautiful would emerge. Thank you to everyone who made this year so special.”
