Milwaukee could win the multiple All-Star from its East rival

The Milwaukee Bucks are playing like one of the best teams in the NBA right now. This allowed them to win the NBA Cup. While this was a solid midseason award for the entire team, it’s not the ultimate goal. The Bucks want to win an NBA championship even more.

Even though the Bucks are playing pretty well, there’s a reason they’ve played so poorly this season. They obviously still have some roster flaws that need to be addressed in order to compete for an NBA championship. Just having Giannis Antetokounmpo won’t be enough to win it all this season.

Milwaukee is clearly in win-now mode, so any trade they would attempt would result in them giving up some future assets. The Bucks likely won’t make a move until closer to the trade deadline, but a three-team transfer like this that could help all three teams would take longer to finalize, so talks could begin sooner than February . This is the trade proposal.

Bucks receive: Nikola Vucevic and Torrey Craig

Wolves receive: Brook Lopez and Jevon Carter

The Bulls receive: Julius Randle, a 2031 first-round pick from the Bucks and a 2025 second-round draft pick from the Wolves

There’s a lot going on in this trade, but it could help all three teams address the deficiencies that currently plague them. The Bucks would get an All-Star center who puts up some great numbers and a forward who can provide some depth off the bench.

Minnesota would be getting rid of a player who clearly doesn’t fit with the rest of their roster. Julius Randle seems to have messed up the chemistry the rest of the team has built with each other. Brook Lopez gives them the outside shot they’re missing now that Karl-Anthony Towns is gone.

Chicago could finally begin the necessary reconstruction. Getting a first-round pick from the Bucks and Randle could help fuel the Bulls’ much-needed restart. They’ve been stuck in the middle for a while now, and getting rid of Vucevic could help give them better lottery chances.

There’s a lot to consider with this trade for all three teams, but it’s one of the rare trades that would help everyone involved.
