An official update from Disney revealed when fans can expect the next episodes of Miraculous ladybug be released.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir (or simply Miraculous ladybug) is an animated superhero series that follows Parisian teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste as they transform into Ladybug and Cat Noir to protect the city from supervillains.

Created by Thomas Astruc, the series explores their struggles against Hawk Moth, who seeks her Miraculous for his own purposes, and their evolving romantic dynamic while remaining unaware of each other’s secret identities.

Most recently, the fifth season ended on November 1, 2023 with dramatic developments including a decisive showdown, new responsibilities for Marinette and a new antagonist in Lila Rossi.

When does Miraculous Ladybug season 6 come out?

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Disney Channel USA revealed this Miraculous ladybug Season 6 starts on January 25, 2025 and will be released later than expected.

Previously, a flyer at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival hinted at a “Winter 2024” release, suggesting a December premiere.

This new release date means there will be a 451 day gap between the Season 5 finale and the Season 6 premiere.

The reasons for the delay are unclear, but many young fans will find it exciting that new episodes will be released soon. The anticipation could be quite high considering it’s December 2022 Miraculous ladybug was the sixth most watched series on Disney+.

What will happen in Miraculous Ladybug season 6?

Season 6 of Miraculous ladybug promises to deal with the aftermath of Gabriel Agreste’s desire to remake the universe, introduce Marinette as Bug Noir, and reveal new challenges.
