Mohammed Siraj could not contain his emotions during an incident on the first day of the ongoing Test match between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval. It took place while the right-arm pacer was bowling the 25th over of the Australian innings. Just before the penultimate ball of the over could be bowled, Marnus Labuschagne retreated from his stance after a deflection in front of the screen. A fan walked across the screen with a beer snake in his hand. Distracted by this, Labuschagne lost his stance just before Siraj, who was already on the run-up, could throw the ball.

Siraj was unaware of what was happening behind him near the viewscreen and was annoyed that Labuschagne had withdrawn at the last moment. An angry Siraj even threw the ball towards the stumps while completing his run-up.
