Coach, you won in many categories tonight. Um, your effort on defense kept you in the game. You’re in a position to score a few runs but, um, came up a little short, but just talk about how you guys came out and played this season. Yeah, you know, there are no moral victories in the NBA, um. I’ve talked to our team about it, but you know, I felt it tonight. I felt their competitiveness. I felt like we went in with the right intentions and um. You know, we gave it everything we had. We simply fell short. It’s really nice to see Daniel Tice play his best game as a *** Pelican tonight. I mean, this is, uh, I would imagine this is the guy that you signed in the offseason and the way he really contributed in every way tonight was pretty solid to see . Yeah, it was a great game from TT, just being active and we needed his, we needed his presence, especially after Eve went down. Uh, with the back injury earlier, but he just fought, he bounced the ball and kept making smart plays. And, and if he obviously took the hard fall and was able to come back. Uh, what did it feel like to see him and the two better young bigs in this league coming on the scene as rookies and seeing every kind of fight out there? It was good, you know, I think we’ll be seeing these guys for a long time. Um, Edie is the damn big boy who sets screens, he dives, you know, a damn good rebounder, an offensive rebounder, uh, same with Es. He has an impact on his team defensively, his ability to set screens offensively, get in the pocket and go up and finish it. Uh, I think we’re going to be seeing these two young bigs for quite a while, and that’s about it. It’s nice to see him fighting out there. And Trey had the highlights of the season. What’s it like to watch him add variety to the game, shoot more than just threes, finish in transition, do things off the dribble, DHOs and so on? I love tonight that he, you know, he just played right the whole game, um, when the ball came to him, he made good plays, he was solid, you know, he shot away coverage. He reached the basket and made plays all the way to the free throw line. And we just need him to keep attacking. This is a heck of an opportunity for Trey, for them, but for some of our younger guys, um, and it’s nice to see Trey take full advantage of the variety that he can show on the floor. And more importantly, do you feel like those DHOs are part of his game that have become a reliable source of offense for him in the half court where he can kind of outplay the big man? be able to get to his places. It’s, it’s, it’s difficult for teams to protect him when he goes down and we call it, you know, a chase. He just hits the big shot and he comes back and gets it. Now they have to make a damn decision, already thinking about the screen they’re going to get under. He’s mastered live dribbling, he’s able to shoot the ball, do a fake drive or just play for a teammate, so he’s getting used to those concepts. Hey coach, back here when you talk about moral victories, when you look at tonight and your last few contests, you just keep pushing against these good teams. How much closer are you to fucking victory? We’re getting closer. Uh we we took a step back last game uh but I’m proud of our group the reaction they had tonight and. You know, we were on the right track even against New York and Denver, and tonight was another damn good performance on our part. So we assume that we are trending in the right direction. We just need to keep cleaning up some of the missed clues. Will you feel like you understand all of this? First win, I mean, you can do it somehow. When they turn around. Yeah, you know, it’s still a hell of a long season, um, we’re trying to focus on one game at a time, but yeah, we, we’re looking for that next win and you know hopefully it can come soon . OK, thanks, yes. Uh, getting that win is one thing, coach, but how much does it cost to learn how to win again? This becomes a pretty damn big consideration when you consider how you get closer as certain things happen that cause glitches later in the games. This is all a damn learned experience for all of us and I’ve said it before. I’ll continue to double down on it if you’re struggling, uh, it, it, it tests your character, character, and then it’s about learning. It’s about living through these moments and learning. At some point in our basketball careers, but also in our lives, we will have them again. So for us it’s a hell of a learning lesson and we’re just going to keep watching film, being together, getting on stage, working on it in practice, going out there and making it happen. All right, thank you.
