“My only sorrow is for my family”

“My only sorrow is for my family”

Jay-Z was just named along with Sean “Diddy” Combs in a civil lawsuit for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Awards afterparty in 2000. Yesterday, the rap mogul vehemently and angrily denied the “idiotic” allegations and spoke about how he now has to explain this to his 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and his 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, whom he shares with wife Beyoncé.

“My only sorrow is for my family,” the rapper — real name Shawn Carter — said in a lengthy statement Us weekly. “My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is at the age where their friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain people’s cruelty and greed.” Because Blue Ivy’s friends will You’ll undoubtedly hear this (heck, maybe she’ll see it on social media first!), and it’s not unlikely that she’s being stalked (maybe even bullied) by those around her. “I mourn another loss of my innocence,” he continued. “Children shouldn’t have to endure something like this at a young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand the inexplicable extent of the evil that aims to destroy families and the human spirit.

“Only your network of conspiracy theorists, Fake Physics (sic), will believe the idiotic claims you have made against me, which, if not for the seriousness of the harm to children, would be ridiculous,” he added.

And Jay-Z seemed to understand how serious and frightening the claims were and eventually demanded that “Jane Doe” do so more.

“These allegations are so heinous that I am asking you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint!!” said the “Empire State of Mind” rapper. “Whoever would commit such a crime against a minor should be put away, don’t you agree?”

The Grammy winner said the alleged victim “would have deserved real justice if that were the case” but that her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, had a pattern of “that kind of theatrics.”

“What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me agree,” the father of three continued. “No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to VERY publicly expose you for the fraud you are perpetrating. So no, I won’t give you a red penny!!’
