NBA fans react to Bucks’ Darvin Ham lifting another NBA Cup trophy

There wasn’t much drama in the Milwaukee Bucks’ dominant 87-81 Emirates NBA Cup victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

In addition to winning more than $500,000 like his fellow teammates for winning the league’s regular-season tournament, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s performance in a leadership role brought home even more gold with the tournament’s MVP award after posting a triple-double with 26 points and had 19 rebounds and 10 assists.

But many of his teammates supported him, especially on defense, as the Bucks held the Western Conference-leading Thunder to a meager 31 points in the second half.

And as the Bucks lift the trophy after winning seven games in the regular-season tournament, it’s been noted on social media that one member of the Bucks’ coaching staff has yet to suffer a loss in the event

Bucks assistant Darvin Ham won the league’s first tournament last year as head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers and increased his Cup record to 14-0. These monster payouts also extend to coaching staffs.

Cha ching.

NBA fans (including some Lakers fans) were quick to point out that Ham is undefeated in the Cup.

Bucks forward Taurean Priince is also into the bonus ball thing after playing with the Lakers last season.
