NBA legend criticizes the Lakers for their treatment of Bronny James: “It looks bad”

Bronny James’ entry into the NBA came with much fanfare as he and his legendary father LeBron James played two games with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The young Lakers rookie was sent to the G League to play for the South Bay Lakers in hopes of developing his skills and becoming a better NBA player. However, he has not remained in the G League and has made some sporadic appearances with the team when it is at home.

Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley criticized the Lakers for their “terrible” treatment of James so far.

“And also this thing where he only plays home games,” he said on “The Bettor Angle.” “It’s stupid, it’s not fair to him. It’s not fair to the team. Can you imagine the coach of this team? You come back from a road trip and have a player you haven’t seen in a week or two. And then.” You probably feel like you have to play him

“I don’t think they’re doing Bronny any favors. They just handled this thing very poorly. Things are looking bad for the Lakers. I really like everything LeBron has done. But things are (also) looking bad for him.” in my opinion.”

James has also been struggling with a heel injury that has kept him sidelined for the past week.

He and his father made history in October when they became the first father-son duo to appear in an NBA game.

Los Angeles got off to a hot start to the season. As of Monday, the Lakers are 10-7 and in fourth place in the Western Conference.
