NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions for Monday: Karl-Anthony Towns, RJ Barrett, Jalen Brunson (12/9)

Welcome to Sleeper Picks. Sleeper’s latest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We’ll break down our top three picks for tonight’s NBA action. Sleeper is quickly becoming one of the most popular all-season fantasy platforms and is expanding into other areas depending on demand. Each week in this space we’ll discuss strategy for the new platform while also sharing our favorite NBA more/less picks.

NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (12/9)

Karl-Anthony Towns (F/C – NYK): 19.5 points (alt line)

Towns continues to shine, averaging 25.2 points and 13.2 rebounds per game for the Knicks. He’s putting up top numbers and looks rejuvenated, no longer having to share the court with Rudy Gobert. Towns has been a consistent scoring threat for New York, scoring 20 or more points in 15 of his 21 games this season. KAT should face the Raptors’ undersized frontcourt tonight. Jakob Poeltl is a solid defender, but not good enough to contain Towns if KAT stays aggressive from the floor. Toronto has given up 23.07 points per game to the center position. RJ Barrett (G/F – GOAL): 19.5 points (alt line)

Barrett has been the Raptors’ star player this season, averaging 23.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists. Scottie Barnes remains the emerging superstar but was sidelined for much of the season while Barrett reminded the world why he was selected in the lottery. Barrett has scored 20 or more points in eight of his last 12 games and is in a great position to do so again against his former team. The Knicks have given up the second-most points per game to the small forward at 24.77 per game. Find out more about Barrett on Monday night’s Sleeper Picks.

Jalen Brunson (G – NYK): 5.5 assists (alt line)

Despite the additions of Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges, Brunson is still one of the best point guards in the NBA. Brunson is averaging 25.4 points and 7.7 assists per game. Jalen averaged 8.3 assists per game in November and should be effective against the Raptors tonight, assuming they don’t shut out their Atlantic Division opponents and don’t rest their stars late. Brunson has six or more assists in 11 of his last 13 games. Jab the More on Jalen for Monday night’s action.

Authors’ Note: The lines on Sleeper are constantly changing (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high chance that one or all of the numbers will no longer be the same when you open your app. The values are excellent when first released, the only catch is that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
