Need a holiday movie? You can watch Red One at home now

Prime Video has delivered an early Christmas package to its streaming subscribers – the holiday action film Red One.

Streaming viewers both naughty and nice can catch Chris Evans and Dwayne Johnson’s celebratory collaboration less than a month after its theatrical premiere. Rated PG-13, the film revolves around the kidnapping of Santa Claus, portrayed by JK Simmons. The fate of Christmas depends on Evans’ infamous bounty hunter and Johnson’s head of security at the North Pole. The film also features Lucy Liu, a talking polar bear, and some villains steeped in spooky folklore.

In addition to Red One, Prime Video’s collection of new holiday content includes the animated film “The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland” (also streaming on Hulu), the comedy title “Jack in Time for Christmas,” Jeff Dunham’s “Scrooged-Up Holiday Special” and the original from last year’s film Candy Cane Lane. If you’re new to the streaming service, here’s what you need to know.
