The four-part show, which some viewers described as “terrifying”, hit our screens last week – and has already got lots of people talking about it on social media.

La Palma tells the story of a Norwegian family who travels to the Spanish island.

Things don’t start off so well when several tourists die in a boating accident just days before Fredrik, Jennifer and their children Sara and Tobias arrive.

Then things get even worse when researchers Marie and Haukur discover signs of a possible volcanic eruption – which could have devastating consequences for everyone on the island.

The brand new series has become a huge hit on Netflix.
