New “Saucy!” From KFC’s restaurant opening its first-ever location in Florida: Check out the menu

Calling all chicken tender lovers! A brand new restaurant called Saucy by KFC is opening its first-ever location here in Florida.

The new concept restaurant’s menu features crispy chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches served with Hawaiian rolls, crinkle-cut fries and coleslaw. The real star of the show, however, will be Saucy’s amazing selection of “finger-licking” signature sauces.

There are 11 sauce flavors to choose from, a fun homage to the 11 herbs and spices in KFC’s original recipe:

  • Chimichurri Ranch
  • Peri Peri Ranch
  • Jalapeno Pesto Ranch
  • Smokey Bacon Ranch
  • Thai sweet and spicy
  • Sweet and spicy BBQ
  • Saucy’s sauce
  • Spicy mango chutney
  • Saucy Ranch
  • Creole honey mustard
  • Sweet teriyaki

“When we focus on sauces, we can be as creative as we want,” Christophe Poirier, KFC’s chief new concept officer, said in a statement. “Saucy debuts with these 11 sauces, but we envision limited-edition sauces, trend-inspired sauces and sauces developed in response to changing taste buds.”

In addition to the sauces, the menu also includes a selection of drinks, including both classic and tasty options, including:

  • Passion fruit + orange + guava freshener
  • Hot honey watermelon refreshment
  • Peach mango lemonade
  • Peach Mango Lemonade Freezer
  • Blue raspberry freezer
  • Tropical black tea
  • Classic iced tea

The restaurant opens Monday, Dec. 23, at 502 S. Alafaya Trail in Orlando.

The City Beautiful was chosen as Saucy’s first location because of its diverse demographic, but additional locations are in the works, officials said.
