“New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash” on CBS: Who’s performing?

On Tuesday night, CBS celebrates the New Year with a soundtrack provided by a slew of country hitmakers.

“Nashville’s Big Bash,” the network’s annual New Year’s Eve show, returns to television and streaming for a five-hour marathon of performances and celebrity guest appearances. Since launching in 2021, this is the fourth year CBS has aired the country music program on New Year’s Eve.

With more than a dozen artists on the bill, here’s a look at who viewers can expect to see at this year’s edition of Big Bash to say goodbye to 2024.

Who is headlining?

Crossover star and Nashville native Jelly Roll is at the top of the list alongside “Thank God” hitmaker Kane Brown and “Big Bash” co-host Keith Urban. Jelly Roll and Co. will perform in front of a live audience at Nashville’s Bicentennial Mall, where organizers say up to 200,000 concertgoers could gather. The show at Bicentennial Mall ends with fireworks and a 138-foot-tall “Music Note” drop at midnight.

Who is the host?

Urban is also taking on hosting duties this year Entertainment tonight Presenter Rachel Smith.

Actors and appearances

Grammy-nominated “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” artist Shaboozey and Beyoncé collaborator Brittney Spencer join the lineup at Bicentennial Mall. Katelyn Brown and Alana Springsteen plan to appear on stage alongside Kane Brown and Urban.

Beyond the main stage performances, the five-hour show features an extensive lineup of country and pop hitmakers including Eric Church, Post Malone, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Tyler Hubbard, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top and Big & Rich.

Additionally, “Pretty Heart” singer Parker McCollum will perform at the nearby Brooklyn Bowl Nashville. Other confirmed appearances include comedians Bert Kreischer and Leanne Morgan, actor Montana Jordan and Bunnie Xo, podcaster and wife of Jelly Roll.

Here’s how to watch

The five-hour show begins at 8:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. CST on CBS and runs until 1:30 a.m. EST, with a half-hour break for local news at 10:00 p.m. Viewers can stream the show online via Paramount+.
