Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys due to a concussion.

Hurts has been in the concussion protocol since his head hit the turf in Sunday’s loss to the Washington Commanders. Head coach Nick Sirianni said Friday that it would be “tough for him to make it” after the quarterback didn’t practice this week.

Substitute Kenny Pickett, who came on for Hurts for the remainder of the Commanders game, will start in Hurts’ place.

Down in New Jersey, the Indianapolis Colts (7-8) are hoping to keep their slim playoff hopes alive without Anthony Richardson, who will miss Sunday’s game with back and foot injuries. Joe Flacco will start for the New York Giants on Sunday.

According to an ESPN report, Richardson is not expected to miss the regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to his injury. This is the third game Richardson has missed due to injury this season.

Packers WR Christian Watson questionable against Vikings

After suffering a bone bruise in Monday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has yet to practice this week.

There were concerns about Watson’s knee after a Saints player fell on him, but Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed earlier this week that there was no structural damage and it was just a bone bruise.

On Thursday, LaFleur told reporters that even if Watson doesn’t practice this week, that doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t play against the Vikings on Sunday.

“If he feels like it on Sunday, I’ll let him go. If not, we won’t let him go,” LaFleur said.

Watson is currently listed as questionable.
