NFL insider reveals crazy information about Josh Allen ahead of Patriots matchup

Josh Allen will enter the match between the Patriots and the Bills on Sunday with a lot of momentum.

Buffalo’s superstar quarterback has been great all season, but in the last few weeks he’s been nothing short of supernatural. Allen scored a total of five touchdowns in the Bills’ last two contests and his late-season surge makes him the clear betting favorite for the 2024 NFL MVP Award.

The 28-year-old deserves a lot of credit for playing at this level despite major offseason changes in Buffalo. Allen also deserves credit for overcoming a difficult situation, as NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the star signal-caller has been playing with a broken left hand (!) since Week 1.

The injury certainly hasn’t affected Allen’s game. He entered Week 15 with excellent passing statistics – 3,395 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, five interceptions – and also very impressive rushing numbers (484 yards, 11 scores). Allen’s outstanding play could very well lead to the Bills earning a No. 2 seed in the playoffs, which many expected would take a step back this season.

The seventh-year pro could also potentially shift into higher gear to close out the regular season. Two of the Bills’ last three pre-playoff games come against the Patriots, who struggled defensively in the second half.
