4. Los Angeles Rams (8-6)

The NFC West lead changed hands on Sunday night.

The Rams jumped ahead of the Seahawks thanks to their straight-up win in Week 9.

Los Angeles and Seattle have the same record and will meet in Week 18, potentially with the division crown on the line.

The Rams have an easier schedule over the next two weeks. Seattle will face the Minnesota Vikings, who are still fighting for the NFC North, in Week 16.

Minnesota can put pressure on the Detroit Lions with a win on Monday night over the Chicago Bears. The Vikings would still fall behind the Lions based on the head-to-head tiebreaker after Monday, but have another shot at the Lions in Week 18.

Detroit’s loss brought it back to Philadelphia’s record level.

The Lions hold the conference record tiebreaker over the Eagles in Week 16. They tie with Chicago, San Francisco and Minnesota, while Philadelphia closes with Washington, Dallas and the New York Giants.

With a win over the Commanders on Sunday, the Eagles can secure the NFC East title. Washington needs three wins and three losses from the Eagles to win the NFC East crown.

Commanders should be more worried about the wildcard race. They are just one game ahead of the Seahawks and will be fighting with the NFC West’s second-place team for the final playoff spot.
