The Houston Texans defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12 in the first game of the 2024 NFL playoffs and won in the wild card round for the second year in a row. There are five more matches left on the first weekend of the postseason. The Detroit Lions are the number one seed in the NFC while the Kansas City Chiefs are the number one seed in the AFC. Both teams have a bye to the divisional round and home field advantage in the postseason.

Wild Card Weekend includes two games on Jan. 11, three on Jan. 12 and one on Jan. 13, a “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams. The Vikings-Rams game will be played in Arizona; It has been postponed in the interest of public safety as wildfires continue to plague Southern California. Divisional round games will take place on January 18th and 19th. The conference title games take place on January 26th.

Here are the AFC and NFC brackets, including the seedings and full schedule from Wild Card Weekend through Super Bowl LIX, which will be played on February 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

There will be four divisional round games – two on January 18th and two on January 19th. Game times will be announced at a later date. Here’s what we know so far:

• In the NFC, the top-seeded Detroit Lions host the lowest-seeded team.




• In the AFC, the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs host the lowest-seeded team. The 4th seed Houston Texans will be on the road unless the 2nd seed Buffalo Bills and 3rd seed Baltimore Ravens both lose.

The NFC and AFC Championship games are played at the home stadiums of the highest-ranked players in each conference.
