NFL Pro Bowl 2025 roster announced: 9 Ravens represent AFC, no Patrick Mahomes or Baker Mayfield

The NFL announced the rosters for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday morning. Players from 28 of 32 teams were selected, with the Baltimore Ravens leading the way with nine selections, followed by the Detroit Lions (7), Minnesota Vikings (6), Philadelphia Eagles (6), Dallas Cowboys (5) and the Kansas City Chiefs (5).

Four teams not represented are the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. These teams could end up using players as backups.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be held again in Orlando on February 2nd and players will compete in a skills competition and a flag football game coached by Peyton and Eli Manning.

Notable players missing include Lions safety Kerby Joseph, the NFL interceptions leader. While he finished first in fan voting among free safeties, he was not among the three who will participate in the Pro Bowl. Joseph’s teammate Brian Branch, who finished second in the fan vote in Strong Safety, made the team.

Joseph posted a GIF on X-Wednesday showing how confused he was about the decision.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was left off the AFC roster, the first time since he became a starter in the NFL and was not selected to the Pro Bowl. On the other hand, Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not be traveling to Orlando.

One rookie who will be out will be Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The wide receiver ranks fifth in the NFL with 1,179 yards receiving and is fifth in the NFL with 10 touchdowns this season.

While Thomas was left out, 24 other rookies were named to the AFC roster, including Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and Los Angeles Rams linebacker Jared Verse. Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders made the NFC team, becoming only the fourth rookie quarterback since 1970 to make the Pro Bowl squad.

Here are the full rosters for AFC and NFC:
