Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett screamed in pain after suffering a horrific eye injury against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The defense was dealing with Joe Thuney in the first half in Ohio when he appeared to be accidentally poked in the eye.

In disturbing scenes, Garrett can be seen ripping his helmet off his head in pain, then slamming it onto the grass and then falling to his knees himself.

Patrick Mahomes quickly comes over and frantically motions for the paramedics to rush to Garrett’s aid before he is treated on the field.

Shortly afterwards, he walked away with a towel over his head and was officially listed as doubtful to return with an eye injury.

As he leaves the field, Thuney can be seen apologizing to the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year.

Garrett may be the Browns’ star prospect, as he was a First Team All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowler during his career.

On Sunday, however, he had a lot to do against the Chiefs offense, who quickly jumped to a two-point lead in Cleveland.

Noah Gray and JuJu Smith-Schuster were the Chiefs’ touchdown scorers, and the absence of Garrett in the backfield makes the Browns’ difficult task a little more difficult.

On social media, one fan wrote of Garrett’s injury, “Please get okay,” while another added, “Oh damn you know he’s hurt.”

Others claimed his “theatrics” were too much for a punch in the eye and urged him to get up and continue the game.

The Browns were 3-10 heading into their matchup with the Chiefs, last in the AFC North.
