With a Christmas doubleheader, a Thursday night game and a Saturday tripleheader, Sunday’s slate of Week 17 games isn’t as packed as we’ve come to expect from a normal NFL week. And for Detroit Lions fans, there’s really only one game we care about: Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. All week, Lions fans have been trying to convince themselves that if they root for the Packers just this once, they won’t lose their entire identity, and believe me, it’ll be fine.

However, since the Lions play on Monday, you can spend all day Sunday watching football – exactly how football Sundays should be spent. And while we all wait impatiently for the Packers/Vikings game at 4:25 p.m. ET, you might want to talk about something else too. I’m told it’s Fantasy Football Championship week. There are also other games that have some impact on the playoffs. Or maybe you’re just feeling the impending feeling of offseason doom as it’s not that far away, and you want to take advantage of the last ounce of NFL football while it’s still here.
