Indianapolis Colts (-7.5) over NEW YORK GIANTS

Starting someone against the Giants now seems like a smart move.

The Giants have done it and face a team built to run the football behind great running back Jonathan Taylor and dual-threat quarterback Anthony Richardson, assuming he plays.

On a cold day in New Jersey, we tend to think that the Giants’ hearts won’t be in it and Taylor will give some people their fantasy football championships.

Add to that the Colts still have a chance to make the playoffs, and we expect Indianapolis to win this game pretty easily.

Another factor to consider is that the Giants have scored more than 14 points once since replacing Daniel Jones and have 32 points (10.7 per game) in their last three losses.

But hey, with a loss the Giants will be one step closer to the No. 1 pick.

Las Vegas Raiders (-1) over NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Spencer Rattler had one of the worst quarterback performances we’ve seen in a long time in Green Bay on Monday, taking terrible sacks and making brutal throws in the cold. He’s just not an NFL quarterback.

Sure, it might not make sense to support a Raiders team with 3-12 players, but we saw last week that the Raiders aren’t just lying down.

Las Vegas has already cost itself the No. 1 seed, so what good would a few extra spots be with a fourth win in New Orleans?

There won’t be many points in this game, but the Raiders have more weapons and somehow field the better quarterback here in the mediocre-at-best Aidan O’Connell.
