No, Beyoncé is not going on tour after her Christmas halftime show

As Page Six reported on Wednesday (November 27), a Beyoncé rep firmly denied rumors of an impending tour following her highly anticipated performance at the Christmas Day halftime show. In response to growing speculation, the superstar’s longtime publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, took to Twitter to set the record straight. “Untrue. There’s nothing to report here. “When there’s news, you hear it straight from the source first,” she wrote.

The denial came after Hits Daily Double hinted at the possibility of Beyoncé “starting to promote her upcoming tour, which is expected to be huge.” It should be noted that the statement was made in the publication’s “Near Truths” series. To add fuel to the fire, The US Sun claimed that the music icon was planning stadium shows abroad next summer, including five performances at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In March, Beyoncé released her eighth studio LP. COWBOY CARTER. The billboard The No. 200 chart-topper consisted of a whopping 27 tracks, with a number of contributions from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Nile Rodgers, Jon Batiste and others. The widely praised release secured 11 Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year, bringing the singer’s total Grammy nominations to a record-breaking 99.

While there doesn’t appear to be a tour planned, fans will be able to hear songs from the country album during their upcoming halftime performance, which will stream live on Netflix on Christmas Day. The show will take place at NRG Stadium during the Baltimore Ravens’ game against the host team, the Houston Texans. According to a press release, Netflix announced that “some special guests” from the album will appear.

Beyoncé’s last multi-city tour, the “Renaissance World Tour” in 2023, was a monumental success. The trip to North America and Europe ran from May to October and grossed an astounding $579 million. A concert film chronicling the tour grossed an additional $44.4 million at the box office.
