Notre Dame holds off Georgia to secure berth in Orange Bowl CFP semifinals: live updates, reaction

Georgia outgained Notre Dame by 52 total yards, 244 to 296, but two stats show the difference in the game: rushing yards and turnovers.

In a game between two teams that featured complementary football, Notre Dame clearly won both duels. The Irish posted 154 rushing yards, while the Bulldogs managed just 62. Still, it was Georgia that came into the game with a healthy first-string running back to complement their dual-threat quarterback, as Notre Dame star Jeremiyah Love had six Running was limited to just 19 yards.
