Georgia outgained Notre Dame by 52 total yards, 244 to 296, but two stats show the difference in the game: rushing yards and turnovers.

In a game between two teams that featured complementary football, Notre Dame clearly won both duels. The Irish posted 154 rushing yards, while the Bulldogs managed just 62. Still, it was Georgia that came into the game with a healthy first-string running back to complement their dual-threat quarterback, as Notre Dame star Jeremiyah Love had six Running was limited to just 19 yards.

But neither QB Gunnar Stockton (-23 yards on 10 carries, including 4 sacks) nor Trevor Etienne (38 yards on 10 carries) were able to gain much traction on the ground, although second-string running back Nate Frazier did with 37 yards on just performed well in four races.
