NYT Connections Notes and Answers for November 27: Tips for Solving “Connections” #535.

Connections is the latest New York Times Pun that has caught the public’s attention. The game is about finding the “red threads between words”. And exactly like that Wordle, Connections resets after midnight and each new set of words becomes increasingly tricky – so we’ve put together some hints and tips to help you get over the hurdle.

What are connections?

The NYT’s latest daily pun has become a social media hit. The Just Wyna Liu, Puzzle’s deputy editor, is responsible for helping develop the new word game and including it in the Games section of the publications. Connections can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group four words that have something in common.

Each puzzle consists of 16 words and each word group is divided into four categories. These sentences can consist of book titles, software, country names, etc. Even if several words seem to fit together, there is only one correct answer.

If a player gets all four words in a sentence correct, those words are removed from the board. If you guess incorrectly, it counts as a mistake – players make up to four mistakes by the end of the game.

Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make it easier to spot connections. Additionally, each group is color coded, with yellow being the simplest, followed by green, blue and purple. How Wordle, You can share the results with your friends on social media.
