Juventus is trying to get back on track in the Coppa Italia round of 16 against Cagliari, but will have to rely on Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie in defense.

Kick-off takes place at 8pm GMT at the Allianz Juventus Stadium.

You can follow the entire build-up and action in the live blog.

If the score is tied after 90 minutes, the game will go straight to a penalty shootout without extra time.

The winner will face Empoli in the quarterfinals.

The Bianconeri may have beaten Manchester City in the Champions League but their domestic form is dismal after four straight draws in Serie A.

They were taunted off the pitch after conceding a last-gasp 2-2 draw to bottom side Venezia on Saturday and now host Cagliari, a side who also drew 1-1 in Serie A here on October 6.

The injury crisis remains significant, with Douglas Luiz, Arkadiusz Milik, Jonas Rouhi, Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal missing.

At least Andrea Cambiaso is available again, but as they have to rest some of their only remaining defenders, that means Locatelli becomes a makeshift centre-back and McKennie an oddball left-back.

Teun Koopmeiners also moves back into midfield, so that Francisco Conceicao, Kenan Yildiz and Samuel Mbangula line up behind Dusan Vlahovic.

Cagliari have been narrowly beaten 1-0 by both Fiorentina and Atalanta in recent weeks but have fallen into the bottom three.

They eliminated Carrarese and Cremonese in the Coppa Italia to reach this stage and can be buoyed by their 1-1 draw at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in October.

Zito Luvumbo is out with a sprained ankle, while Adam Obert was also unable to compete.

There is a rare start for veteran Gianluca Lapadula, supported by Gianluca Gaetano and Razvan Marin.
