It’s a win for Ohio State University fans, considering the travel issues many faced on their trip to Texas. Former Ohio State player and future hip-hop artist Mecca Don posted on X (formerly Twitter) that his flight to Dallas was postponed on Thursday. Hundreds of flights from Columbus to Dallas were also canceled.

Not only were there travel issues, but Texas also had an advantage due to the bowl’s location, as Austin, Texas is only about a four and a half hour drive from AT&T Stadium.

Ohio State is coming off two straight dominant wins over No. 9 Tennessee (42-17) and No. 1 Oregon (41-21) at Ohio Stadium and the Rose Bowl, respectively. Texas, meanwhile, defeated No. 12 Clemson and No. 4 Arizona State in double overtime to advance to the semifinals.
