Oleksandr Usyk is still the king of the heavyweight division. The future Hall of Famer ended his rivalry with Tyson Fury in brilliant fashion on Saturday, showing strong performances again in the middle and final rounds, winning a unanimous decision over Fury and retaining his WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight titles in one round defended back-and-forth bout at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

All three ringside judges scored the fight 116-112 in favor of Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), who also won a hard-fought split decision over Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) in May, making him the first became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era of boxing.

Disappointed, Fury left the ring without saying anything, however Frank Warren of Queensberry Promotions expressed frustration with the decision and said he believed Fury should have won.

In the evening’s co-feature bout, 19-year-old Moses Itauma made a stunning statement about the potential future of boxing’s heavyweight division by knocking out Demsey McKean in under two minutes.

Itauma (11-0, 9 KOs) turns 20 on December 28 and remains on track to potentially break Mike Tyson’s record as the youngest boxing heavyweight champion of all time, although he would have to do so in 2025.

McKean (22-2, 14 KOs) has now lost two fights in a row after starting his pro career a perfect 22-0.
