THE TIME NOW 445. WE’RE WATCHING ANNAPOLIS THIS MORNING. BUT IT LOOKS STILL AT THE MOMENT. I see the flags moving a little, so there’s already a breeze and it just feels colder. It’s going to be really cold again this week, but what a difference when you see how dry it is here compared to how much snow fell in parts of northwestern Pennsylvania to northern New York. The lake effect snow continued throughout Thanksgiving weekend and is continuing now. Parts of upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania have over 2 feet of snow. ONE OF THE HIGHEST MARKETS I SEE NOW, 34 INCHES OF SNOW. So far it’s still snowing there. NOW THE WIND HAS CHANGED MORE STRONGER TO THE NORTH AND WEST SO THE SNOW BANDS STILL CUT ACROSS I-90 AND THAT’S STILL SOME REALLY DIFFICULT JOURNEY BECAUSE IT’S OKAY IN SOME PLACES, IN OTHERS IT’S LIKE A SNOW STORM NOW WITH SO HEAVY SNOW AND THOSE PLACES THAT ALREADY HAVE SNOW With about a few feet of snow, we’re expecting at least another foot toward areas like Erie and Portland and even toward ADAMS in upstate New York. So you really want to be careful when traveling in this zone because it will take a while to really get out of all the snow. BACK TO THE BALTIMORE REGION. WE SAW SOME LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS DURING THE RAVENS GAME YESTERDAY. TEMPERATURES ARE NOW IN THE 20S. It’s a very cold start to the day and it will still be very chilly today as we are only near 40 this afternoon. BUT THE DIFFERENCE TODAY: WE HAVE BRIGHT SUN. I know this really helps with this cold too. BUT BUT, OAKLAND IS A LITTLE CLOUDY AT 24 DEGREES. THEN CLEAR SKY. TONIGHT WE’RE DROPPING INTO THE 20S. Remember, the breeze is still with us, so you can still expect a wind chill that feels like it’s in the teens overnight. And then tomorrow it will be a little windier during the day when we get almost 40 degrees again. BUT WE WANT TO HAVE THE SUNSHINE AGAIN. So if you look at your seven day forecast, the weather for the next few days is calm, just very cold. 40 FOR THE HIGH TODAY, 27 TONIGHT, 42 TOMORROW. IT’S SUNNY TODAY AND A FEW CLOUDS TOMORROW. WEDNESDAY, BUT STILL DRY. On Thursday I marked this day with the impact symbol because I could see it raining lightly in the morning. SNOW MIXTURE. BUT I DON’T EXPECT IT TO HOLD MUCH. The fact that it could happen during the morning commute could slow us down a bit more and then it will be gusty and cold as temperatures drop throughout the day on Thursday. AND THEN IT’S MUCH COLDER ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, WHEN THE HIGHS ARE JUST IN THE 30S, SO WE’LL JUST HAVE TO BUCKLE UP FOR A VERY COLD

Meteorologist Ava Marie says it will be a chilly start to the week with sunny skies and brisk temperatures on Monday. Temperatures are in the low 40s for most of the week, with temperatures reaching as high as 30 degrees. There is a chance of a rain/snow mix on Thursday, making it an Impact Weather day. Starting next week it will be warmer again.
