Onshore wind and mild temperatures ahead of a cold front – 104.5 WOKV

According to the First Alert Weather team, it was a windy but fairly mild day with temperatures in the low to mid-70s.

First Alert Weather Team Notes:

  • The onshore wind blows briskly, especially along the coast
  • Sunday is very similar to today
  • There will be a few clouds at times, breezy winds and a heavy shower at times
  • The Jags game looks pretty good, but is a bit windy – look for a scattered shower
  • Short, isolated showers will continue until Monday
  • Tuesday and Wednesday look wetter before a cold front moves through
  • In the second half of the week the temperatures will be cooler
  • Conditions will remain rough on the beaches for a few days
  • A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY and HIGH SURF ADVISORY are currently in force
  • Minor flooding may occur during high water
  • There is a high risk of rip currents until Monday. The best advice is to stay away from the water
