Although the No. 1 Oregon football team secured a spot in the Big Ten championship game weeks ago after a 16-13 victory over Wisconsin, the Ducks got to know their opponent on Saturday for next week’s game.

The Ducks play Penn State in Indianapolis on Saturday, Dec. 7, after No. 2 Ohio State suffered a stunning 13-10 home loss to unranked Michigan on Saturday morning and the Nittany Lions Done business against Maryland 44-7.

Penn State (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten) has only one loss this season to Ohio State (20-13) and sits above No. 10 Indiana in the tiebreaker due to Big Ten tiebreaker rules. Penn State has beaten only one team currently ranked in the top 25 this season: No. 23 Illinois.
