NBC had a full night law and order There was action on Thursdays for a few seasons, but that’s no longer the case with the start of the 2024-2025 TV season. While Christopher Meloni will be back as Elliot Stabler Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5, the Law & Order: SVU Spinoff will release episode streaming for fans with a Peacock subscription starting sometime in TV program 2025. With Mark-Paul Gosselaars Found substitute OK On Thursday evening, it’s worth taking a look at the ratings for the two remaining NBC series L&O shows how they fared in the fall without Stabler at 10 p.m. ET.

According to ratings and viewership numbers TVLineNBC’s Corner of the Nine shows in the Dick Wolf TV universe continues to dominate the channel’s scripted series. SVU ranks fourth behind One Chicago’s three shows with a seven-day average viewership of 5.6 million viewers and a 0.65 rating in the 18-49 demographic. law and order is slightly lower in the channel’s numbers, coming in seventh place with an average audience of 4.83 million and a 0.45 rating.

Apparently we don’t have any current figures on this Organized crimesince it hasn’t returned after the spring finale brought its NBC run full circleand streaming ratings are not calculated in the same way as network television. The overall numbers for the other two shows suggest so SVU While Mariska Hargitay’s series ranks as the second highest-rated drama on television, viewership is down 18% compared to its 25th season law and orderSeason 24 viewership is down 26% compared to the spring season.

Does that mean that? law and order And SVUNBC’s numbers were negatively impacted by the abandonment of the three-hour show law and order Thursday? Of course not, because there are many variables that need to be taken into account. Actually both Chicago fire And Chicago PD — which are ranked No. 1 and No. 3 on the network’s most-watched fall shows, respectively — have also seen a decline in viewership so far from the 2023-2024 season through the 2024-2025 season.

Would ratings have increased if the fall season had included a crossover? SVU And OK to reunite Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni on screen many fans hoped? Probably at least for this week, but we just can’t say for sure what might be different if Organized crime had returned to prime time instead of being reserved for Peacock in 2025.

For what it’s worth, Found – aka OKThursday night’s viewership averaged 3.9 million, down 13% from its previous broadcast on Tuesday night and more than 20% down from its average viewership OK. If any, Found can be a substitute for more suffering Organized crime as both SVU or law and order.

Nevertheless, I find the numbers interesting and will definitely keep an eye on them in the new year Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 is finally starting… assuming that happens before the end SVU Season 26 and L&O Anyway, Season 24. In the meantime, you can stream previous episodes of all three shows again on Peacock and look forward to NBC’s return on Thursday, January 16th at its usual times.
