Orlando Weather: Temperatures are expected to drop behind the cold front

Orlando Weather: Temperatures are expected to drop behind the cold front

A strong cold front that moved through Wednesday afternoon will clear the area this evening, ushering in a wave of colder air with northwest winds 10 to 25 mph.

Temperatures are expected to drop overnight and taking wind into account, wind chill will make it feel much colder.

How cold will it be in Orlando on Thursday?

Morning temperatures will be between 30 and 40 degrees, with much of the region reaching 30 degrees due to the windy cold. Despite a chilly start, clear skies and sunshine will see temperatures rise to over 60° by the afternoon.

Outlook: Orlando forecast for Friday

Temperatures will rise to the low 70s on Friday and the mid 70s over the weekend. Sunny skies are expected through the end of the work week, with partly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated showers over the weekend.

When will the temperatures get warmer?

Our cold snap won’t last long. By Friday, highs will be back in the 70s as seasonal temperatures continue into the weekend.

A few isolated showers cannot be ruled out for the coming weekend, with a 30% chance on Sunday.
