ATHENS – Georgia had to decommit its first commitment of the day when running back Ousmane Kromah transferred his commitment from Georgia to Florida State.

Kromah first committed to Georgia in October. Auburn was also a finalist for the running back from Leesburg, Georgia. Kromah is the No. 4 running back in the cycle, the No. 13 player in Georgia and the No. 92 player overall for the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Georgia also saw Lee County star Jeramiah McCloud stick by his decision to also sign with Florida. There was a possibility the Bulldogs could finish with two players from the Lee County program. Instead, there will be none.

Georgia signed running back Bo Walker earlier in the day, meaning the running back roster won’t be empty.

The Bulldogs signed three running backs in last year’s recruiting cycle, with Nate Frazier, Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips Jr. all making positive impacts as freshmen. Frazier is Georgia’s leading rusher this season.

Georgia also isn’t expected to lose any running backs from its 2024 roster. Trevor Etienne, Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson are all still eligible.

As of this writing, 21 of Georgia’s 27 pledges have officially signed the program.
