Owen Wilson and Matt Rife star in a new Rolling Loud film.

deadline reports that Wilson and Rife will star Roll loudly – a father-son comedy set at one of the world’s most popular hip-hop festivals and celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Written and directed by Jeremy Garlick American highThe film is about an overprotective father who secretly smuggles his 13-year-old son into Rolling Loud. This questionable parenting decision leads to an adventure with Wilson’s equally wild colleague, played by Rife, as they deal with the festival’s massive crowds, their own family issues and security.

News of this new film comes just days before Playboi Carti is set to release his upcoming album I am music at Rolling Loud Miami.

In a post shared on Instagram last month, Carti told his fans that he couldn’t wait to see her in Florida on December 15th. He also explained that the album would be “played” at his performance.

People have taken this to mean that we’ll be hearing the album in its entirety – however, no information has been revealed about what exactly will happen during Carti’s headlining performance.

In other recent Rolling Loud news, Paris-based influencer Saint Léon claimed that he managed to get backstage at Rolling Loud Europe to watch Travis Scott perform.

In a TikTok video shared on his profile, he mingled with festival staff and managed to get into Scott’s dressing room, where he treated himself to some food.
