Ozzy Osbourne shared details of a Christmas when he drank 28 gallons of beer.

The 76-year-old rock legend is known for his wild past – and has previously spoken openly about past addictions he struggled with.

In a new interview, the Changes singer explained that he’s not a fan of Christmas – and recalled drinking an incredible amount of alcohol for a year to cope.

The rock and roll icon was quoted by The Sun as saying: “I bloody hate Christmas. It goes right up my ass.”

He further explained that he bought so much beer that he drank the equivalent of 224 pints to get through the holidays.

Osbourne said: “When I used to drink alcohol and get really crazy, I bought a 28-gallon keg of alcohol. I drank it before it was Christmas Eve.”

Earlier this year, the singer revealed that he doesn’t consider himself “totally sober.”

In October, he said on the Madhouse Chronicles Podcast: “I’m happier, but not completely sober. I use some marijuana from time to time.”

Explaining how wife Sharon Osbourne would react if he started using drugs again, he added: “Even with marijuana, she’ll f***ing find it and get rid of it… I recently went to a doctor and started taking this ketamine. He put a little bit into me, but it was enough to ignite me. The thing came back and took a toll on my brain.
