CLEVELAND – Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton will not return for the second half of Indiana’s game against the Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sunday because of left hamstring strain, according to the Pacers’ public relations department.

The left Achilles tendon was the same one that Haliburton suffered last season, costing him ten games in January 2024, and then re-injured elsewhere during the Eastern Conference Finals, ultimately ending his season two games from elimination the Pacers finished. It was not immediately clear whether this was a repeat or new injury.

Tyrese Haliburton stats

Haliburton scored two points on one of five shots but had five assists in 18 minutes, 30 seconds in the first half. He was averaging 18.5 points and 8.9 assists per game before Sunday night’s game and had not missed a single game this season.
