Packers vs. Seahawks predictions and live updates: NFL “Sunday Night Football” start time, how to watch, inactives and current events

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Packers tight end Luke Musgrave practiced Wednesday for the first time since undergoing ankle surgery to repair a torn ligament about two months ago.

Musgrave, a 2023 second-round pick from Oregon State, suffered a left ankle injury when he rolled over and fell during the Packers’ Week 4 loss to the Vikings. Musgrave said the injury occurred on one of the first plays of the game, but he played 25 offensive snaps that afternoon.

That’s no surprise since Musgrave suffered a torn kidney against the Chargers last season, not knowing the extent of the injury at the moment.

After Musgrave’s injury in Week 4, he did not practice before Green Bay’s Week 5 game against the Rams, but was still active as an emergency option before not playing a snap. Musgrave returned to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday before facing the Cardinals in Week 6, recorded a DNP on Thursday and was placed on injured reserve on Friday.

“I definitely knew I hurt it, but we kind of talked about it and going against the Rams was probably more of a reserve role, and then this week at practice I kind of – we reevaluated it and it looked like, like maybe it was a little bit worse,” Musgrave said after practice on Wednesday. “We didn’t know until after the Rams week that it probably needed surgery.”
