Apparently, Finebaum believes the Bulldog assistant bears a lot of the blame for the loss to the Fighting Irish, as he gave Notre Dame some much-needed momentum through some nonsensical play calls.

The one decision everyone is analyzing as the dust settles on Georgia’s season is the decision to play aggressively three times with less than a minute left in the first half. It’s easy to say in hindsight, but if you have a quarterback who is struggling and has made some good plays but you don’t have that much confidence in him, you shouldn’t put the game in your hands if you only score three points followed, and everyone in America saw what happened after that mistake.”

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of blame to go around for Georgia’s subpar finish to the season, but Paul Finebaum pins the blame on Mike Bobo. Time will tell if the Bulldogs decide to make a move, but Kirby Smart knows Athens won’t be happy with how the 2024 season ends on Thursday.
