Phoenix Suns reveal starting lineup against Dallas Mavericks

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns look to move forward to 16:14 on the season tonight against the Dallas Mavericks, who will be without superstar G Luka Doncic.

The Suns are also likely to be shorthanded with Devin Booker out for the third straight game.

Still, head coach Mike Budenholzer may have cracked the code of what works in games where Booker is missing – that code could be attributed to playing Royce O’Neale off the bench.

The Starting Five Budenholzer rolls out this evening:

Jones will continue to be one of two Suns – along with O’Neale – to appear in all 30 contests this season and is looking to reach double-digit points for the ninth time in December.

Beal had one of his best performances of the season on Christmas – scoring 27 points in a win over Denver.

Dunn will be in the starting lineup for the second straight season – the rookie seems much more comfortable in the starting role than coming off the bench.

Durant continues to build All-NBA and MVP status since returning from a mild ankle sprain – and will look to outdo his former teammate Kyrie Irving.

Nurkic has been a topic in trade discussions lately, but delivered 13 rebounds and 6 assists in the last game.

Suns-Mavs will kick off tonight shortly after 7 p.m. local time.
