Pinpoint weather alert day for difficult travel on Wednesday |FOX31 Denver

DENVER (KDVR) – Wednesday is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day as snow dominates the weather forecast for Denver through the morning.

Weather today: Morning snow leads to slippery driving

Snow showers continue Wednesday morning, creating slippery travel conditions. The snow showers will subside around midday and the clouds will clear by evening.

Temperatures will remain cool throughout the day, reaching just 30 degrees in the metro, which is 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Weather tonight: Clear, cold

Wednesday night will remain dry with clearing clouds. This will help bring low temperatures down to freezing quickly.

Outlook: Cold and sunny heading into the weekend

It will be a cold start to Thanksgiving, followed by sunshine and high temperatures only reaching the upper 30s.

Friday will see clear skies coupled with cool temperatures starting in the teens before reaching highs in the lower to mid 40s.

Sunshine and cool temperatures will not reach highs until the 40s and remain within the forecast through the weekend.

More sunshine is forecast for Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures rising to highs around 50 degrees.
