Detroit – Detroit Pistons legend Isiah Thomas recently announced that he has been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy. He made his illness known during a guest appearance on Come And Talk 2 Me – a podcast hosted by former NBA point guard and ESPN broadcaster Mark Jackson.

The Basketball Hall of Famer decided to make his condition known during the virtual interview. As he told his story about playing for the late Bob Knight at Indiana, the right side of Thomas’ face appeared paralyzed and a little droopy.

“I know a lot of people are watching, and I haven’t actually told anyone, but I have Bell’s palsy,” Thomas said. “I appreciate the prayers and the love. But that’s exactly what’s happening to my mouth right now.”
