Pistons vs. Nuggets GameThread: Game time, TV, odds and more

The Detroit Pistons want to win their fourth road game in a row, but they have to outplay Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets to do so.

Jokic remains an MVP candidate and one of the NBA’s top players, but these Denver Nuggets are a little more vulnerable than in years past. The Nuggets are playing the second half of a straight night after allowing a season-high 149 points in a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Nuggets have one of the worst defenses in the NBA this season, and now they’re trying to get going without their one true great defender, Aaron Gordon.

The Pistons will have a chance to capitalize on a weaker defense, but that means they will have to hit shots and limit turnovers. When they cough up the ball, this Denver offense is too much to overcome.

One advantage for the Pistons is the return of big man Isaiah Stewart, who was sidelined with a hyperextended knee. Stewart can’t stop Jokic, but he can at least make him work for his points.
