The motive for Monday’s shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, which left three people dead – including the shooter – was believed to be a “combination of factors,” according to police.

Barnes did not provide further details about a possible motive, but said police were reviewing the shooter’s online history. “There are always signs of a school shooting before it has happened,” he told reporters on Tuesday, adding that people had contacted police about the shooter’s “social media activity” before Monday’s shooting .
