Predicted lineup of Manchester City vs Crystal Palace: Premier League

Manchester City travel to Selhurst Park to take on Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace on Saturday.

City finally ended their seven-game winless run in all competitions, beating Nottingham Forest in midweek. With a trip to Italy in the Champions League looming next week, the away win against Palace will give the team reassurance that they are back on track. The fans know they need it and Pep Guardiola knows it too.

After trying to improve things, Manchester City should look similar to what they did against Nottingham Forest. Or Guardiola causes another uproar despite the victory.

GK: Stefan Ortega—It would be very funny if Pep went back to Ederson after winning a game for the first time in what feels like forever. Ortega should start again.

Moderator: Joško Gvardiol—The Croatian stays in the left defensive line.

CB: Manuel Akanji– Akanji moves inside after playing at right-back against Forest.

CB: Ruben Dias—Dias keeps his place in defense along with Akanji.

RB: Kyle Walker– Walker came on as a substitute in the win against Forest. He begins to compensate for losses in the squad.

CDM: İlkay Gündoğan– No surprise. The German remains in a dual position, controlling and patrolling the midfield.

CDM: Bernardo Silva– Silva drops a little deeper against Forest, offering control but also the ability to dribble forward, find a pass and be dangerous in the box.

LW: Jeremy documentary– Doku starts again after scoring a goal in the second half against Forest.

Cameraman: Kevin De Bruyne—What a boost De Bruyne’s return was for Guardiola.

RW: Savinho—If Bernardo starts centrally and a little deeper, Savinho should come back into the team.

ST: Erling Haaland– Haaland may not have scored against Forest, but the win should give him the confidence to get back to his goalscoring ways.
