Predicted lineup of Real Madrid against Sevilla: La Liga

Real Madrid’s spectacular 2024 ends with a La Liga game against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid earned a 3-0 win over Liga MX side CF Pachuca in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final. The trophy was Los Blancos’ fifth of the year, adding La Liga, Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and UEFA Super Cup titles to their overflowing trophy cabinet. However, there is still one game left before the Christmas break, against Sevilla.

Despite an injury crisis, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have kept the pressure on Barcelona and Atlético Madrid at the top of La Liga over the past two months. With the two Spanish giants meeting this weekend, Real Madrid may be able to make up ground on at least one of the teams as long as they collect three points at home.

Ancelotti will be without the injured David Alaba, Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão on Sunday, as well as Vinícius Júnior, who is serving a one-match ban for accumulating yellow cards. Ferland Mendy returned to training ahead of the game but there is still a doubt.

This is what Real Madrid’s team could look like on December 22nd against Sevilla.
